We lost a year

A whole year

COVID locked us in

So many beautiful souls lost

Who knew? A mask

Washing hands endlessly

Home deliveries

Life stopped

I think we took too much for granted

A way to make us appreciate life again

For some it worked

For some, still complaining

Some will never be happy or grateful

Sad it is…give them a mask
